Suffering

As we are conformed more and more into the image of Christ, we will look less and less like the world around us. And because the darkness hates the light, we are certain to experience persecution and suffering. But, we can take heart and have a supernatural hope knowing Christ also suffered and conquered death and is guarding for us an inheritance in heaven. So we shouldn't be surprised by suffering. Even more, we ought to rejoice in what it produces in and for us and be ready to tell unbelievers why we have such hope in the midst of it.
